2008 Graduation & Commencement Checklist
Applying to Graduate:
Must have completed the degree requirements for 2007-08 school year (including summer quarter 2008)
Set an appointment with a counselor or advisor to confirm your graduation eligibility and to complete a graduation application
Complete paperwork before May 7, 2008 to have your name printed in the commencement program.
Announcements:
Order at the CBC Bookstore for $1.25 each plus tax
Starting April 14 and through the summer
Allow 24 hours for printing
An honors line may be added for High Honors, Honors, and Phi Theta Kappa Honor students
Cap, Gown, Tassels:
FREE and yours to keep
Pick up your cap, gown, and honors items at the Student Programs Club Room (upstairs HUB), Mon.-Fri. from June 2 - 12 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4 and Monday, June 9
Only CBC issued regalia can be worn at the ceremony
Rehearsal:
Come to a 30 minute “Talk Through” in the Gjerde Center on Monday, June 9 at 9:15 a.m. or 7:00 p.m.
Photographs:
CBC does not provide a photo option for graduates.
Commencement:
Friday, June 13 at 7:00 p.m. in the Toyota Center in Kennewick. The graduates will line up on the West Side Entrance at 6:30 p.m. Note: This entrance is also known as the zamboni entrance.
Diplomas:
Will be mailed to you in the fall. Graduates will receive their diploma cover at the ceremony.
All High Honors and Honors graduates will have the phrase “with honors” printed on their diploma.
Phi Theta Kappa Honors member seals will be on the diploma insert.

Auditions!
Auditions for CBC's Jazz Choir (FreeForm) and Chamber Choir (DeserTones) are currently underway for next year.
